Your Mission:

 

Collection, implementation and follow up of user requirements

• Assisting users in the analysis and definition and draft of their requirements.
• Design and implement process, workflow and/or data models according to the requirements specified.
• Estimation of workload, cost and impact of user requests.
• Writing technical specifications for the analysis, design and implementation and testing of those requirements.
• Develop the features that respond to the requirements in SAS, according to the analysis and design, having in mind the project plan, priorities and deadlines set.
• Develop in bash scripting programs that support the integration of external components with SAS.
• Follow up and test the developments, ensuring their quality. Update the functionalities and documentation when the requirements change.
• Assist in deploying and configuration of the new developments

Development and maintenance of GSAST and other SAS applications

• Perform the maintenance, implementation and new development of
• SAS/GSAST/Viya applications.

User support for SAS statistical domains

• Second-level support of users for SAS/GSAST/Viya statistical domains.
• Report and follow up of issues using the proper tracking tools.
• Assisting users in the definition of their requirements and preparing specifications.
• Training users on-the-job or through organized group training sessions.

Participation in projects for the modernization of SAS/GSAST and related statistical tools

• Analysis, system design, implementation and testing of existing system and new system requirements/deliverables.
• Development of functionalities in the new target system.
• Data and code migration activities from previous to new system.
• Update and maintenance activities in old and new systems during parallel runs.
• Post-project user training and support.

Technical skills:

• Familiarity with standard coding, release management and deployment tools (eg. GIT, BitBucket, Bamboo, or similar)
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) or similar
• Ability to give business and technical presentations
• Ability to apply high quality standards
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem solving skills
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
• Knowledge of programming in PYTHON will be an advantage

Profile:

• 5 years experiences in IT in general
• Bachelor degree
• At least 2 years of specific expertise in Statistics and SAS programming
• Familiarity with SAS Viya platform
• English mandatory
