Job Description:

You will support the design and implementation of a consistent, user centric, and accessible user experience for web portals based on Microsoft platform and M365 intranet, aligned with digital workplace principles and governance requirements. Ensure that intranet user interfaces, pages, and custom components comply with accessibility and responsive design requirements, and provide an inclusive and usable experience across devices and screen sizes. 

Your tasks:

• Evaluation of business objectives, user expectations, and intranet scenarios to guide UX/UI design choices.
• Design user interface concepts, page layouts, navigation patterns, and interaction models for SharePoint Online based intranet components.
• Production of UX/UI artefacts such as wireframes, mock ups, prototypes, design specifications, and usability guidelines.
• Design and implement reusable UI elements, layouts, styles, and interaction patterns using appropriate front end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, client side theming, and SharePoint framework conventions).
• Ensure that implemented and designed interfaces comply with accessibility and responsive design principles, supporting different devices, screen sizes, and assistive technologies.
• Contribute to the definition, implementation, and maintenance of UI consistency, design systems, and reusable UI patterns across the intranet.
• Support usability reviews, accessibility validation activities, and iterative UI refinements based on stakeholder feedback and testing outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with front end developers to ensure accurate, efficient, and feasible implementation of UX/UI designs within SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 constraints.

Your Qualifications: 

Bachelor or Master degree in UX/UI Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Web Design, or other relevant field.

• At least 7 years of experience in the field of UX/UI design for web based applications or portals.
• Demonstrated experience on multiple projects involving accessibility compliant and responsive user interface design.
• Proven hands on experience in implementing UI designs, including development or adaptation of user interface components, layouts, styles, and interaction behaviour using front end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, client side scripting and SharePoint Online UI frameworks).
• Experience in UX/UI design and implementation within SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong expertise in accessibility and responsive design for enterprise web portals.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
