In the Role of the KSH Perl Expert:

Highly skilled Unix shell preferably Korn Shell (ksh) and Perl expert having extensive experience in script development and debugging.

Self learner and proactive – able to start without handholding especially in technical area of Unix shell and Perl.

Will be responsible to maintain (evolve and debug) application built in house based on Perl and Korn Shell.

 

Must have Skills (Demonstrable experience required):

Ability to work in complex ecosystem involving application development based on perl scripts running in korn shell

Will be required to response to a use case test as part of the selection procedure.

Strong technical knowledge in Unix shell (Korn), Perl both development and support

 

Must have Required Qualification:

Hands on experience (10 Years +)  and solid technical knowledge of:

Development of bash, Perl, scripts for maintaining and supporting and debugging inhouse application

 

Desirable qualifications:

Hands on experience and solid technical knowledge of:

Software configuration management

ClearCase
